Some years ago, I hired a handyman to fix something in my home. I proudly brought out my toolbox full of tools whose names purposes I did not know.

My friend, the handyman grabbed something with his hands and then asked if I could pass a particular tool to him from my toolbox. I responded, “I don’t have the tool,” he looked at my ignorance with kindness then reached down to my toolbox and grabbed the device that I did not know I have. Am sure you can imagine how I felt, but this experience taught me a valuable lesson on life. I began wondering how many tools (gifts and talents) do I possess that am oblivious to? How many people around us have invaluable tools that can get them to their next level but are unaware; how many people carry around within them keys to their prosperity and success but are ignorant of what they already have?

God has gifted everyone with something, and mine includes helping you to identify, develop and nurture what you carry so you can have a meaningful and fulfilling life. As the saying goes, the best time to act was twenty years ago, and the next best time is now.
